My View on the “Campus Star” Contest
At an age of character and individuality being encouraged and
demonstrated, we see various “stars” pop up—singing stars, dancing stars, movie stars and sport stars, etc. Many schools even hold contests to choose their “Campus Stars”. Although these activities make our cultural life on campus more colorful and varied, a lot of problems spring up at the same time.
First of all, these activities can result in the swelling of vanity in some students, making them become arrogant, or even feel superior to other students. Moreover, these activities can greatly distract the students from their study. In order to become a star, they will, without any doubt, spend a lot of time and energy on the preparation and
competition. The focus of their academic life will be shifted, and even worse, they can become too enthusiastic about extracurricular activities and hate the academic knowledge and skills they need to grasp for their future development.
On the whole, I think these various “Campus Star” contests should be controlled on the campus. After all, schools are different from any other social institutions. Extracurricular activities should be
encouraged, but they should be helpful to the students academic study and all-round development.

as for me,i think for both eaminers and eaminees,the eamination can show what and how much the eaminees have results of eaminations are just like mirrors for both eaminers and eaminees.
through eamination the eaminees can check their work and get aware of which aspects they have not done well,so that theyll make much improvement in their far as eaminees are concerned,they can not only know how they have studied but also find out what they still unknown or what they havent mastered will be inspired to greater efforts to improve their studying method so as to make greater course too many eaminations are burbens to both eaminers and eaminees.

In my family, there are only three people, my parents and I because of myparents’ work, they could only have one child at that time, so I don’t have anysiblings.
I felt so lonely when my parents went out for their work. Now thegovernment changed their policy, people can have the second child. But somepeople refuse because they think they can’t afford it. Despite the expense,there are many advantages to have the second child. For one thing, the onlychild can have someone company, so they won’t feel lonely on the process ofgrowing up. For another thing, two kids will help each other, they can sharethings together.
Learning to share things is a very important lesson forchildren. In Chinese tradition, more kids, more better, but I think two areperfect for the family.

The university opening ceremonythe deeply impressing feelings are as much a part of me now as they were a year ago.
As the day to register and become a freshman in FDU approached, meant I was finally coming of age. Soon I would be on my own,making my own decisions and doing what I wanted without someone looking over my shoulder.
Despite months of anticipation, nothing could have prepared me for the impact of the actual thousands of new comers sitting on the broad lawn in front of the famous XiangHui Auditorium, listening to the speeches by the principal and student representatives, I felt myself consumed by a rush of both joy and nervousness. What would college be like? Would the other students like me? And what about the workwould I be able to keep up? Being a student in high school seemed to offer little assurance of my being able to survive college, especially in FDU which is abundant of excellent counterparts. Panic set had been nice being respected as a senior by the underclass students for the past year;I didn't quite enjoy the idea of being on the bottom rung of the ladder was not assured whether I wanted to grow up after all.
As if in a daze, I rose up with my new classmates around to show respect to the school song which was to be performed. As the solemn music flowed, I knew that I was hearing not just a song but the foot step of a brand new life. Exciting as the prospeet of a new life seemed, it wasn't quite easy saying goodbye to the old onethe familiar faces, the familiar routine. I would eyen miss those days when fully engaged in preparing for the college entrance exams though they were so tiring and the long commute between home and school that took me several hours each week. Good or bad, it was that I knew.
This September, I was one of the volunteers to welcome the new comers and guide them around the campus. I found the familiar mixed feelings shown on their faces. I needn't have worried about if I would like FDU, since my year here has turned out to be one of the best years of my life. Although going back to those days is impossible, it's comforting to know I can revisit my special memories any time.

There is a famous saying in Chinese proverb that Gold can’t be pure and nobody is perfect. But only few people realize its essence. Accepting the imperfection is the lesson that everybody should learn. The things they complain maybe the advantages in other people’s eyes. Shortcoming is part of human nature, so just be nice to it.
Nowadays, people are easy influenced by the hot comment. Someone asked the question of what gift should he buy for his girlfriend on Valentine’s Day with the budget of 200 RMB. Someone answered the best gift was freedom. A lot of people applauded for the wonderful reply. Another story about a girl was moved by his boyfriend’s gift of a cheap handbag, because the boy spent a lot of time choosing it. The most precious thing the girl received was the boy’s sincere heart.

Some parents think their kids are not good enough for not getting the high mark, actually, talent differs in many children. If adults accept their children’s imperfection, both the children and them can live the happy life.

everybody has his friends. some people like to choose friends who are different from themselves while others prefer those who are similar to themselves. each of the choices has its advantages.
when people have friends similar to themselves, they and their friends can chat, play, and do things together harmoniously. the result is that they all feel relaed and can truly enjoy each others company.
when a guy has friends different from himself, the advantage he has is that he can benefit from the contacts with different people. his friends may be different from him in character, education, occupation, social status, or political and religious beliefs. from those friends, he can learn a lot of things that he has never eperienced himself and he can also enjoy being with thera when they know each other well.
comparing the advantages of both cases, i think that it would be better for me to have both kinds of friends …… some who are similar to me and some who are different from me. in this way, i can have the best of both worlds. for instance, when i want to rela or when i am too tired to be careful about my speech and manner, i can stay with those friends who are like me. but, when i feel like it, it is also possible for me to stay with those who are different from me and learn something new.

Discovery is not such a big and noble word that only experts and scientists are entitled to use. In fact, every one of us makes discoveries as we grow. For example, a baby will find out how he can play with his toy car after he has tried several times. We will discover how to ride a bike skillfully after practicing again and again.
Often a discovery brings great joy to the person who makes it. You will certainly be delighted when you find the thing you have been looking for. You will be extremely happy when you one day realize that you have learned and mastered a skill or method which was almost too difficult for you at the beginning.
Sometimes, however, discovery means regret or even pain. You witt feet great regret when you find that you have hurt one of your friends or one of your family members. You will surelybe disappointed when you discover that you failed in the examination for which you have prepared for a tong time. Joy or sorrow as it may bring, discovery is an integral part of our life.

The man denied drinking, but he failed the police test for sobriety. When asked to touch his nose with his arms outstretched and eyes closed, he was unable to touch any part of his head.
The handcuffed man asked the police if they knew where “Mabel” was as he was put into the back seat of the police vehicle. The police asked him if Mabel was his wife. He said, “She's my dog, my dog! Today when I was relatively free,I mucked around some of my previous classmates’ QQ zones . I surprisingly found that after more than one year’s college life,they are becoming more and more mature,both physically and spiritually . I got that they all lead a meaningful and fruitful life in their school,though study burden is just like a ghost always haunting them . but in my viewpoint,I think pressure is essential and crucial to most of us,unless you have a strong control of yourself and can study without others’ mention . under a given pressure,we will be enforced to do what is indeed good for us but enjoys little popularity among us .
So fairly often when we look back to the past,we may feel guilty at wasting so much time,but simultaneously it will make us rejoice that we have been obliged to do those which turn out to be good for us . so to a large extent,what you loathe may probably do enormous good to you . on the other hand,even though the thing you are compelled to do does no good to you at all,it is also beneficial for you to accept the reality,because many a time in our life,we have no right to choose but to be chosen . life may not always go our way,which indicates if we cannot do following our original wish,we have to face the music and accomplish well what we ought to or have to do . it is also a kind of capability to do well what we disrelish,which implies we have been mature and seen the essence of life through .
In the past,when I was doing something compulsory but useless,I would always nag at it all the time till I finally got away from it . but now,I will show another story . I will also try my best to fulfil my task,and go all out to develop what I am inclined to within all the controllable factors . I hold that since you have started,why not give it as well as yourself a perfect ending?no matter it is favorable or not,fulfilling a task successfully and excellently can show and cultivate your practical ability . hence I deeply believe only by doing so can we achieve the utmost benefit within extremely limited resources.

就是给定一个已排序的数组,返回一个字符串数组,每个字符串表示为元素区间的合并,
本题是典型的two pointer 问题。
思路:
一次遍历,使用two pointer方法,from 表示区间的起始元素,to表示区间的结束元素。
如果相邻元素nums[i]和nums[i-1]差值为1,区间范围+1:to = nums[i] ,注意最后元素的处理。
否则:
如果from不等于to:
将range = [from,to]添加到解集中,并更新from的位置。
如果from和to相等:
将range=from(或to)添加到解集
注意末尾元素的判断(如果已打末尾,添加末尾元素)
实现代码:
public class Solution { public IList SummaryRanges(int[] nums) { if( == 0){return new List ; } if( == 1){return new List (){nums[0].ToString()}; } var from = nums[0]; var to = nums[0]; var ret = new List (); for(var i = 1 ;i < ; i++){if(nums[i] - nums[i-1] == 1){ to = nums[i]; if(i == - 1){ (({0}->{1}, from , to)); }}else{ if(from != to){ (({0}->{1}, from , to)); if(i == - 1 && to != nums[ - 1]){ (nums[i].ToString()); } } else{ (()); if(i == - 1){ (nums[i].ToString()); } } from = nums[i]; to = nums[i];} } return ret; }}

Compared with the forty year old shabby dormitory I am living in now, the one I lived in for three years in high school was heaven: three students shared one brand new suite with air conditioners and a bathroom.
In three years time we changed it thoroughly:the color of the floor turned from bright pink into muddy gray, and the closet a hive of insects proliferating among piles of rotten our masterpiece was the bathroom, a never drying swamp which served as the habitat of various kinds of mold, and even rodents, rats would occasionally take the trouble to pay us a visit, and..all three of us felt like sobbing when we at last had to say good bye to our lovely filthy it is because that the dormitory had changed us as well as we'd changed it.
The first lesson our dormitory taught us was to look after speaking, we were not good students at still remember the underwear that was soaked in soapy water for one and a half years before it was finally thrown each of the boys'dormitories had gradually developed its own unique _fragrance_ usually a mixture of rotten fruit, unwashed socks, stunk towels and some junk could tell one dormitory from another by sniffing instead of tolerance towards untidiness was amazing.
However, in spite of all this, we really did make some by bit, we started to wash dirty clothes before they stunk, cleaned the garbage bin when it could hold no more trash, we even used brushes in a not-sc-successful attempt to refurbish the point was that we were not obeying any order, we did every bit of the cleaning for ourselves, because we wanted to live in a better nothing we did could be called an achievement, it was the first time we fully bore the consequences of our behavior, and took the responsibility.
Thus it was not surprising that I often found myself the only one to clean up my university dormitory which looked no better than a garbage bin when my roommates felt normal of it.
When talking about our dormitory life, and probably all the dormitory life, we should never leave out one was what we called _bed talks_.Though it was considered _illegal,_there was nothing to stop us from deliberately starting a heated discussion right after lights were was our favorite and the only way of ending our day, and we were as punctual for it as our parents are for was the most common topic?Girls, of course!
